I bought this miniature marble statue on the corner shop on Tate street on my way to Adam's.  It reminded me of the Thinker sculpture and some wood work that my grandfather does look similar.

The First Entry (kinda)

Hi, my name is Corry Mears and I was graced with the privilege of doing the first entry for our Canson sketchbook. Now being the first one to draw in it, I honestly had no idea what to put inside this orange fellow. So I just sketched out something pretty fast, it's exciting that we're actually doing this though!

WELCOME!

To the the sketchbook from many, many first year Interior Architecture students at UNCG. To explain what this is, it's a sketchbook that we've started in our spare time for willing students to draw in and hopefully in the end create something really cool. A couple of us got the idea to make a sketchbook that went all around our first year area and had entries grow and grow within. We got the idea from design teacher, Suzanne Cabrera who is partaking in a thing called the International Moleskin Exchange in which a moleskin goes all across the world and different artists put in it different things. This is very similar to that, but on a much smaller scale. It's very much experimental but we're all hoping for something cool regardless.
